Meh. This was my first attempt at scratch made corn fritters. I'm gluten intolerant so the frozen kind at the grocery store are out. I sort of feel like others that these really lacked flavor, and I used an ENTIRE jalapeno. Hubby said the same thing. They weren't bad, but they weren't great either. However, they were super simple. I'll probably use another recipe next time though.

I've tried MANY hush puppy recipes and this one by FAR is the best! Easy and delicious! Not too spicy either! My 7 year old couldn't get enough!
