This dish was definitely interesting and different. First of all, the wine cooking with the rice smelled amazing while it was cooking on the stove. I think it could've used a toasted nut for some crunch - like some toasted almonds or something, and maybe some chopped parsley. I really liked the grapes - it was just something totally different. I used jasmine rice and I was wondering (as I see some other reviewers asking about the cooking time for the rice, but with the rice I used it turned out just fine with the cooking time recommended in the recipe.

This recipe was awful. I made it exactly to recipe and I couldnt even make myself eat it just on the principle that I had cooked it and used all that wine. Do not make this!

Does this recipe call for raw rice or cooked rice? If it calls for cooked rice , most rice take on average 30 minutes to cook.
