Ingredients
- 2 cups whiskey, preferably Crown Royal
- 6 cups cranberry juice
- 4 1/2 cups pomegranate juice
- 2 cups orange juice
- Juice of 2 limes
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, diced
- Mint leaves, for garnish
Directions
Combine the whiskey, 3 cups cranberry juice, the pomegranate juice, orange juice, lime juice, sugar and 1/2 cup water in a large, shallow freezer-safe container. Stir well, then cover and freeze until the mixture is icy, stirring every 20 to 30 minutes, 4 to 5 hours.
Scrape the frozen mixture with a spoon and divide among glasses, filling them three-quarters of the way. Divide the remaining 3 cups cranberry juice among the glasses and top with the diced cranberries; stir until slushy and garnish with mint.

This is a great refreshing drink. Only thing I did different was use Scotch and rub the mint in the glass for a more intense flavor.

Delicious! I mixed everything and froze it and we were able to mash it up and drink it as we wanted. DELICIOUS! new favorite. Totally agree that it is pretty awesome on the rocks without being frozen:

This is EXACTLY the kind of drink to make during the holidays. It is so good that I may be as excited about this beverage as the stuffing at Thanksgiving. We may have a repeat performance at Christmas. I used a different quality whiskey, and it was great. I omitted the extra juice, the diced cranberries, and the mint for ease during travel. Sampled on the rocks prior to freezing and nearly served it that way. This is worth the cost of ingredients.
