Ingredients

Deselect All

4 fresh basil leaves

1/2 ounce molasses

1 1/4 ounces whiskey, preferably Elijah Craig

Juice of 1/2 lime

Ginger beer, for topping off

Directions

Muddle 3 basil leaves and the molasses in a glass. Add the whisky, lime juice and ice and stir. Top with some ginger beer and garnish with the remaining basil leaf.
