This is a keeper - smooth, rich, slightly sweet, warm. The fresh whipped cream I've used hasn't ever curdled. Unless you've used something acidic, it should not. The topping should just slowly melt down becoming the cream in the coffee. You have to remember to use good quality ingredients to get good results. Do that and this drink will knock your sox off - or warm you so that you wont need any.

I made this for myself and found the flavors came together wonderfully. Don't drink it immediately give all of the flavors time to rest into each other. I only used half of the recommended ingredients for everything and I found that it had a great taste. It most definitely keeps you warm and tingly inside. Just make sure you are in for the night if you are going to drink more than one cup and use the full recipe. This is a holiday keeper. Suggestion: make your whip topping and freeze. Take a couple of table spoons and put it on top it will cool the coffee so that you can drink it immediately, and I know the presentation may lose a point. I loved the rum flavor.
