I served this salad with a pork roast. It complemented it well and the kids like the sweetness. It was super quick and easy to make.

Why is this listed under dairy? There is no dairy product used in preparing it. Even cool whip is just oil.

Used this for a family dinner. I offered Cool Whip if anyone wanted it but most of the adults prefered it w/o Cool Whip. Kids, of course wanted Cool Whip. But it's a wnderful recipe!
