    So good

I made this for thanksgiving and it was so good, I wish I had made more! I used splenda for baking instead of regular sugar. ... Also, I didn't have a cinnamon stick so I added a tiny bit of cinnamon and it worked out great.Read more

    Fantastic and easy!

I normally think most cranberry sauces have waaaay too much sugar, so I was pleased that this only called for 1/2 Cup. Also,... I wanted a very simple recipe taht wouldn't take a few hours and a ton of ingredients. Because it was a smaller crowd, I used one bag of cranberries, the zest and juice of a whole orange and then 1/4 C sugar (and cinnimon stick). It cooked quickly and easily. I did have to add a tad more sugar though, which was simple enough to do. I can never eat canned cranberry sauce again!Read more

Worste Cranberry Sauce I have ever made

Rated: 1 stars out of 5
I followed the recipe exactly.....just the zest and juice from one orange. There was nowhere near enough fluid to cook the... TWO bags of cranberries. I added more orange juice. It was still so tart it was inedible. I don't have a clue what recipe the others who are praising it used, but it surely was not the one here!!!Read more

I am a canned cranberry girl.. I don't think i've ever had home-made stuff.. but I won't be going back anytime soon!! This... was a great recipe.. sooo easy too! I used the amound of sugar that it called for.. although I did end up using a tablespoon or two extra, I also used 2 cinnamon sticks (and the zest + juice of the whole orange.. I might cut back a little on the orange next time though) This was AMAZING right off the stove when it was nice and warm. I let it cool for a few hours in the fridge before serving. I actually preffered it warm! The tartness of the cranberrys came out a lot more while cold I think.. but it was a nice complement to the turkey and all the sweet things I had on my plate. I know some people said they had to add waaay more sugar.. I might of added a little more, but I think it was a perfect complement. Definatly worth trying.. and you can always have a can handy just in case :) Thanks Tyler!!Read more
