Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 1 (28-ounce) can tomato puree
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt and fresh ground pepper, to taste
Directions
Over medium heat, heat oil in a saucepan until hot. Add all ingredients, cover and bring to a boil. Uncover, lower heat and allow to simmer for 30 minutes.

Very easy to make, but you have to add a lot more seasoning otherwise its bland.

I would give this zero stars if that was an option. The sauce had absolutely no flavor! I really cannot believe people say they like this sauce!? I had to alter it so much to keep it from being bland that it ended up being a completely new recipe. I'm erasing it from my recipe box right after I post this. Yuck!

This is the first pizza sauce recipe I came across and there is no need to look any further. It is fantastic. I made it last night for the first time and my boyfriend and I loved it. This is definitely going in my recipe binder for future use. I am always looking for ways to remove processed food from our diet - now I don't have to buy pizza sauce in a jar!!
