Desiree Le and Terence Lioe opened their ice-cream shop in May 2015, shortly thereafter introducing the puffle cone that started a craze. Lioe grew up eating the Hong Kong waffle street snack, which he and Le transformed into an ice cream cone. Each scoop of ice cream (in flavors like Earl Grey lavender) is made to order using liquid nitrogen, ensuring it stays extra cold when served in the warm waffle.
