Matt and Jackie Burt got into competition barbecue while living in Kansas City. Two years after they caught the barbecue bug, they moved back to their hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska, and went into business with Matt’s parents, Ron and Kristi Burt, opening a 16-seat barbecue joint spreading the wealth of KC-style smoked meat.
