Food Network shares how to make macaroni and cheese pancakes with spicy syrup. First, pancake batter and mac and cheese are mixed together in a bowl. Unsalted butter is melted in a pan which is then turned off. Maple syrup and hot sauce are whisked into the melted butter. A lid is put on the pan to keep it warm when it’s set aside. Next, unsalted butter is melted in a pan to which the pancake batter is added and topped with shredded cheddar cheese. The pancakes are cooked for three minutes on the first side, then two minutes on the other side before being plated and topped with the warm spicy syrup.
