About Apple Mandy

Apple is a contributing writer at Food Network, where she has written articles related to Asian food and cooking. Before moving to the U.S. in 2020, she worked in Shanghai and Hong Kong for 15 years, writing and editing content for English online and print publications, including South China Morning Post, and overseeing magazines’ editorial process, from concept to publication. In the past eight years, she has written a variety of food content, ranging from how-tos, recipe stories, chefs’ profiles, restaurant reviews to in-depth features. Her work has been featured in several publications, including BBC World’s Table, The Spruce Eats, The Kitchn and Wine Enthusiast.
