This recipe is super easy and fantastic. I can't wait to take it to the Superbowl Party. I did not change the recipe other... than using a 2 Cups artichoke hearts. I would definitely make this again.Read more

    Awesome

Just made this for the superbowl and it was super easy to make and soooo good. I used marinated artichoke hearts because I... couldn't find frozen and thawed the cut leaf spinach under warm water for a few minutes before throwing it in the boiling water. I used regular cream cheese but light mayo and light sour cream. I added some chalula at the end. Tried it with a black pepper triscuit and I am not sure I'll be able to wait until the game starts to eat it!Read more

    Great base recipe

This is the easiest I've come across. I didn't bother heating cream cheese in microwave, as I let it come to room... temperature. I added the whole 8 ounces and also added flavored feta cheese. Very nice. Next time, I'll add sauteed shallots and garlic for more flavor, . Also, it's nice to top with extra parmesan cheese and broil until browned. Read more

    Very Delicious

Rated: 5 stars out of 5
as some of the other reviewers, said, the cheese was not overpowering in the dip....it was very delicious, and waaaayyy... better than than the one in stores. It tastes good when its hot as well as when it is cold. The only change i made was using marinated artichokes in the jars and added a small can of sliced water chesnuts...very yummy and will definately be making this again!Read more

    A little sad :(

Rated: 3 stars out of 5
I made this because I love Alton and thought it sounded yummy. I hate to admit it, but I love the warm spinach and artichoke... dip at Applebee's. I thought it would be cheaper to make it at home. I used low fat cream cheese, olive oil mayo, and reduced fat sour cream. Anyway, all I tasted was the spinach and cream cheese. It was way too over powering. I'm a little sad over it, I feel like I wasted ingredients. Read more
