I made two of these - one with the beef strips and did one with chicken strips, my family preferred the chicken. It was just like eating pizza in a restaurant, hot, fresh and delicious. Have made it several different ways since, using ground beef seasoned with taco sauce etc...my family can't get enough of this recipe!

Good recipe, loved the flavors. Used fresh peppers and garlic, caramelized some onions, used Garden Fresh Jack's Special Salsa with a little lime zest and juice (delicious! Used some flank steak thinly sliced for the meat. Also, sliced some fresh avocado to put on at the end which gave it an awesome touch to flavor. Dough was a little bit soft, perhaps due to too much salsa or not enough oven time. Overall, an easy recipe that can be modified many ways and will definitely be repeated again in the hopes of an even better pie.
