Ingredients
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice (no sugar added or freshly squeezed)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- One 12-ounce bag cranberries
Directions
Combine the sugar, orange juice, 1/2 cup water, the cinnamon, salt and cranberries in a medium saucepan. Bring up to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 15 minutes. Let cool completely before serving.

Never had I tasted homemade cranberry sauce, so for Christmas this year I made this recipe and couldn't believe how good it was! I love that you can make it way in advance and that it travels well.

This recipe was so easy and very good! I had a lot left though and wound up using it to make cranberry-orange muffins....which were to die for. Have enough left for one more batch:

1st time every making homemade cranberry sauce, it was easy to make and it was delicious... I will definitely continue to use this recipe !
