Ingredients
- 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- Few dashes Bobby Flay's Hot Sauce, or your favorite
- 1/2 cup olive oil
Directions
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- 3 carrots, peeled and shredded
- 1 medium head green cabbage, shredded
- 1 red bell pepper, julienned
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salt and pepper
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, toss with the dressing and season with salt and pepper, to taste.

This is a staple for me now. I think I saw it on his show and I'm pretty sure he used a pinch of sugar, but I can't find the recipe I wrote down. Sounds like others added a lil honey, great idea. I use it on tacos, as a side dish, everyone loves it! It gets better overnight, so make a bunch :

Very Good!!! Made this for my husband on his diet and it went great with some grilled chicken thighs and also put it into lettuce wraps with some cut up chicken and my husband said it was the best!!! Even the kiddos liked it! Great recipe to keep in our healthy files!!
