Ingredients
- 2 pounds haricots verts or green beans
- 3/4 cup pine nuts, toasted and finely chopped
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Directions
Cook beans in a large pot of boiling salted water until crisp tender. Drain and rinse with cold water. Heat oil in a large saute pan over medium heat. Add the green beans and cook until just heated through, stir in pine nuts and season with salt and pepper to taste.

This recipe was easy and nice. My husband and I both liked it, however we both thought it just lacked a little something in flavor. Not sure what, to be honest. Maybe next time I will add a clove of garlic and saute in the olive oil. That might do the trick.
