Lay the ears directly on the grill over very hot coals. Grill turning to brown them evenly, for 5 to 7 minutes. Season them to taste with butter, olive oil and salt.
This is a super simple recipe - we served it at a BBQ and repeatedly had people asking for the "recipe." They were incredulous when they heard how easy it was. Tons of flavor (we grilled over hardwood charcoal.
The whole family raved about this corn! I used a Chipotle infused olive oil (I thought Bobby would approve!but changed nothing else.....easy and delicious! Grilling really brings out a whole different flavor in the corn.....may never boil corn again!
