You can create up to five timers

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounces light rum
  • 1 1/2 ounces dark rum
  • 1/4 cup passion fruit juice
  • 1-ounce orange juice
  • 1-ounce fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons simple syrup (equal amounts sugar and water heated until the sugar dissolves; cool)
  • 1 teaspoon grenadine
  • Ice cubes
  • Cherries with stems, and orange slice to garnish

Directions

In a cocktail shaker, mix the rum, all of the fruit juices, and the simple syrup. Add the grenadine, and stir to combine, then add ice and shake. Half-fill a hurricane glass with ice, then strain the drink into a glass and add more ice to fill the glass. Garnish with cherries and an orange slice.

    Tasted nothing or looked like a Hurricane from NO. It's impossible to copy Pat O's recipe. Don't waste your time or your money. And I don't say this to be mean, I'm from NO, and every time we get back from a visit I try to make one, it just doesn't exist outside of the real thing.
