Directions
Trim store-bought pie dough into a rectangle. Spread with softened butter and sprinkle with a mixture of ground cinnamon and sugar. Roll into a log, then flatten slightly. Brush with beaten egg, sprinkle with more sugar and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 375 degrees. Cool, then slice into thin pieces.

Terrible!!! Does food network test these out? For one review below, your mothers biscuit dough must have been better than store bought. I took a bite and threw it in the garbage. What a waste of ingredients.

I used to make these with my mama when we had left over biscuit dough. Ours were sort of crunchy but they were good. I have never used the pie crust that was mentioned. Maybe that made the difference. Lots of cinnamon and sugar is the key...
