Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 cup dark agave nectar
  • Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper

Directions

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and set aside.

In a medium bowl, toss together the oats, almonds, wheat germ and cardamom. Pour in the agave and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer the mixture to the sheet pan and bake until golden, stirring halfway through, about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan.

    Made this to add to our brunch for this Mother's day and I'm sure it will be a hit. Delious! No doubt my special girls I'm cooking for are going to love it. I packaged some for each of them to take home with them.

    I put mine in jars for fridge but wondering if this is really required. Also, how long would shelf life be.
