Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups creme fraiche
- 11 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
- Whipped cream, for serving
- Cocoa powder, for serving
Directions
Put the creme fraiche into a medium saucepan and place over medium heat. Stir until it begins to bubble and add the chopped chocolate. Stir well until the chocolate melts and the mixture is smooth. Pour into 8 souffle cups and chill, covered, for 2 hours. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of cocoa powder.

So simple to make and full with flavor. We used plenty of raspberries and strawberries on top, because you need balance the chocolate and creme fraiche bite. All in all - great especially for how quick you can make it.

It was a bit too rich and tart for the portion size. My guests were not wowed and they are chocolate lovers.

I made this last night for dessert for the family. It was good, but I was not crazy about the tang from the creme fraiche. It's basically just a giant truffle that you are eating and I would prefer heavy cream to creme fraiche. I love Dan and Steve, though and we really enjoy the show!
