simple and healthy -- a really quick answer for times when you need a quick dressing and a quick salad. I was actually glad to see this out there and Ellie is the real deal -- she doesn't copy other people's recipes!

I absolutely loved the dressing! So very easy, and I never would've thought to put those ingredients together. I also added a spritz of lemon to mine and it is a great sald to make. Especially in the summer months. Just add some chicken on top, and you've got a great, healthy meal. Thanks again Elllie! You're awesome.

Regarding some of the critical comments (some were posted to another recipe from the episode, there are a lot of people who have only used store bought dressing, and appreciate the measurements, the suggestion of using specifically red wine vinegar, the use of basil and amount to use, and so on. Kudos to Ellie for helping even the newest cooks make a healthy, easy meal with ingredients they probably already have in their kitchen.
