Ingredients

  • 3 cups tomato juice
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 3/4 teaspoon hot sauce, or to taste (recommended: Tabasco)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Premium vodka
  • Small jar pickled green beans
  • Small jar pickled okra

Directions

In a blender combine the tomato juice, lemon juice, lime juice, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and hot sauce and process until smooth. Transfer to a nonreactive container and add salt and black pepper, to taste. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled, at least 2 hours and up to overnight.

When ready to serve, fill each glass with ice.

Add 1 ounce of vodka to each glass, then fill the glass with the bloody mary mix. Stir well, and garnish each glass with a pickled green bean and a pickled okra.

    HIghlight of the party.

This recipe was the highlight of a recent brunch I hosted. I prepared the mix the night before(I used V8), so all I had to do... was set it out in a nice pitcher with a bottle of vodka and the garnishes, which included a bloody mary seasoned rim salt. Many guests had more than one....an excellent recipe.Read more

This is the best bloody mary I've ever tasted. It is good with or without the vodka. It also makes a nice sauce for shrimp,... clams and oysters.Read more

    AMAZING

I made this recipe for a New Year's Eve party and everyone was raving about how wonderful it was. Hands down, they all said... that it was better than any store bought mix. Instead of garlic though, I used the juice in the bottom of the minced garlic jars. Looking forward to our next Bloody Mary Bar.Read more

I made this for a bridal shower brunch and it was a huge hit! It is very delicious with just enough hot spice. We have our... favorite Bloody Mary restaurants but this beats them all.Read more
