Depending on your maturity level, you might be familiar with the pickleback: the shot of whiskey followed immediately by the shot of bracing pickle brine. Well, this is that, except with bracing lemon-ginger juice instead. It may make you forget you have a cold.

Ingredients

Lemon-Ginger Zapper:

Directions

  1. Fill one shot glass with the whiskey and serve with the Lemon-Ginger Zapper in a second shot glass as a chaser.

Lemon-Ginger Zapper:

Yield: 8 to 10 ounces
  1. Juice the lemons, then the ginger, following your juicer's specific settings for each. Stir in the coconut water, agave syrup and cayenne. Serve the juice immediately over ice, if desired.
