Directions
Beat 2 sticks butter, 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar until fluffy. Beat in 2 egg yolks, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon orange zest. Whisk 2 1/4 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt; stir into the butter mixture, then chill 30 minutes. Roll tablespoonfuls into balls and flatten; sprinkle with coarse sugar and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

I don’t know where it went wrong! After I put them in the oven I noticed that the batter was melting and there was a fine layer of butter over the rest of the dough. The only reason I gave them 2 stars was because I left them in the oven while it was cooling and they turned out as one big cookie that tasted pretty good

Very yummy, put green and red sprinkles on for Christmas. I put a cupcake liner between my palm and the ball of cookie dough, worked well to keep the dough from sticking.
