Ingredients

  • 1 head kale, washed and thoroughly dried
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sea salt, for sprinkling

Directions

Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.

Remove the ribs from the kale and cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces. Lay on a baking sheet and toss with the olive oil and salt. Bake until crisp, turning the leaves halfway through, about 20 minutes. Serve as finger food.

    OMGosh! Wonderful!! I never used sea salt before so definitly will use less but these are delicious!! You must be a Kale fan or be open for new flavors. We loved it and I am going to make it often!!

    I made the kale chips the other night, and it was delicious! I had never had kale before - - mostly because I didn't find the rubbery thick texture appealing. I baked it in the oven as directed and sprinkled a bit of chili powder and lime zest for a an extra kick! Thank you for the inspiration! :

    What a great way to satisfy your craving for something crunching/salty. Talk about a guilt free snack. Feels great to know you're getting nutrition and fuel for your body and not just empty calories.

    I used organic kale. Organic is always the best in my opinion. I think the amounts of oil can be decided to taste as with the salt. (Which next time I would do less of both but there certainly will be a next time! Just keep in mind that I believe these are to be super crispy and not chewy so keep them in the oven longer if the kale is not crisp.
