Brilliant!!!! Michael, you're a life saver. I had a bunch of friends coming round for dinner and wanted to serve something as the starter that wasn't too time consuming to prepare. An ideal accompanying main course was the excellent Meatballs in Buttermilk over Liver Carpaccio Recipe by Mario Zuckini.

This recipe is just brilliant! You could also use hot coals instead of ice and have hot fruit. I used bananas in mine so I didn't even need the knife! You can also cut out the bowls by just placing the fruit directly on an ice tray. Some may roll off but this will just make them more juicy. I'm making a salad like this next time, just by placing the head of lettuce, tomato, onion and a dry loaf of bread in a bowl whole. Thanks Food Network!

Michael never ceases to amaze me with his creativity and new and exciting use of food! I would have NEVER thought to use a knife to peel the fruit or ice to keep it cool! Thank God. Do you have any good ideas for preparing instant rice or maybe I way to boil water quickly? Keep up the incredible work!!
