Ingredients
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil, eyeball it
- 5 to 6 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 tablespoon grill seasoning blend (recommended:Montreal Steak Seasoning by McCormick Grill Mates)
- 1 large head broccoli, cut into thin, long spears
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Place extra-virgin olive oil, garlic, chili powder and grill seasoning in the bottom of a large bowl and add the broccoli spears. Toss to coat broccoli evenly then transfer to a large nonstick baking sheet. Roast the broccoli until ends are crisp and brown and stalks are tender, 17 to 20 minutes.

I love the roasted garlic flavor, however, the montreal steak seasoning made it WILDLY salty - I couldn't even eat it. I am making this again, but next time just with olive oil and garlic - then it will be perfect.

This is great. I didn't have enough broccoli so I also used cauliflower and zucchini. This is a nice way to change up the veggies. It is great to do something different to shake up roasted veggies. It is a keeper.

I used Lawrys Salt with the chili powder and you definately do not want to go over the 1 tablespoon with the salt. Less is more, and you can always add seasoning later. Love love love this recipe! <3 <3
