    Unexpectadly delicous!

I actually made this recipe despite the reviews as I needed something for the kids at my sons 2 year old birthday party. I... made it as written as I was out of powdered sugar otherwise I would have tried it. But it was actually delicious and I found myself going back to the bowl over and over. Yes, it looks a little dreary, but the key is definitely use the brightly colored sprinkles over the top to dress it up. Try it! Read more

    GOOD WITH RECIIPE CORRECTION

I WATCHED AND TAPED THE SHOW TODAY. THE PROBLEM WITH THE RECIPE WAS FIRST OF ALL, THE AMOUNT OF RICE/CORN SQUARES. INSTEAD... OF 6 CUPS, IT SHOULD BE 7 CUPS. SECOND OF ALL, TO ANSWER THE QUESTION OF WHEN TO ADD THE COLORED SPRINKLED PIECES. YOU ADD THEM AFTER THE MIXTURE HAS BEEN BLENDED WITH THE COCOA POWDER. AT THE VERY END. I HOPE THIS HELPS. ENJOY!!! Agree about powdered sugar as substitution

The cocoa powder really doesn't work well but powdered sugar is a great final coating.

Instead of cocoa powder to keep it from sticking together I use powdered or confectioners sugar. Much better. If you want... to, add 1/2 the candy pieces to the mix , add the other half in with the powdered sugar, then add everyting together in a large zip top bag and let the kids shake it. Was a big hit at my sons 5th birthday party. Read more

    a flop

I followed the ingredients but the mixture was very dark and the cocoa didn't seem to taste well with it. Then it doesn't... say when to add the candy colored pieces. It turned out to be more of a mess.Read more
