I've made these many times for my little ones and they do seem to like them ok, but not as much as my Doggy Burgers which are hot dogs chooped in the food processor and formed into little mini burgers. THOSE are a huge hit with my brood!

If I wanted a smaller serving of hamburger, I'd make the patties smaller or -- better yet -- I'd make her exceptional "MINI BURGERS ON TOASTED DISKS." The problem with HAMBURGER DOGS is it's heavy-handed seasoning. I don't know any kid that would eat something like that.
