Though I did not make this recipe I have made the Cashew Chicken I liked it very much. I just want to say the critical reviews in some cases are overboard. This program was geared toward people on a tight budget using canned or prepared foods vs. fresh. I personally will choose frozen veggies etc... over canned. I purchase little to none of canned veggies/meats. Sandra I loved to watch your program and you always brightened my day, loved the decor too!

Homemade mac 'n cheese is so easy to make from scratch and, depending how you make it, a healthy meal. The box mix is awful, full of fake cheese, overly processed noodles, trans and saturated fat.

THIS IS PATHETIC. You feed off of a product and through in small details to create your own dish. I am sorry to say that you are the worst cook ever but if this is all you got then you are and will always be the worst cook in my definition. This food tasted terrible and no one wants to taste cardboard and wrapping paper so why would they make this dish?! I am sorry to say that this dish is very simplistic yet has the worst taste ever.
