Ingredients
- 1 cup maraschino liqueur
- 1 pint sour cherries, stemmed and pitted (in a pinch, you can buy a jar of sour cherries in light syrup, and drain the syrup)
Directions
Bring the liqueur to a simmer, and then turn off the heat. Add the cherries, stir, let cool, and then pour into jars. Refrigerate. Cherries will be tasty for months.

They are very tasty! But I have to admit that I decided to add just a touch of almond extract and a little sugar just to make it a bit sweeter. I can't wait to share them with my close friends for family. Thanks for such an easy and tasty treat! And Ted, you're the coolest!

I made them earlier today. Frankly, I don't eat them. I made them for my Hunny and to give as gifts for the holiday. Will post after they've been tasted. They smell yummy! Love you Ted!
