Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons chopped capers
  • 10 tablespoons chopped cornichons
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped flat-leaf parsley
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • Dash hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

Directions

In a small mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Chill before serving to let the flavors marry.

    portmossy; Cornichons are small whole pickles. Look for them with the other pickles.

    This is the only tartar sauce I've used for the last few years. Very good and simple to make.

    Have not made this yet. What is cornichons? Have not herd the word before. The sauce looks & sounds good.

    Aimee, you do need to refridgerate the capers. And, this is a very good recipe!
