Ingredients
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup roasted salted peanuts, chopped
4 slices crispy cooked bacon, crumbled
4 bananas, sliced
1 pound refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup dulce de leche
1 egg, beaten
4 teaspoons turbinado sugar
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter, peanuts, bacon and bananas until combined.
- Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal balls and roll each into an 8-inch circle. Scoop one-quarter of the banana mixture onto half of each piece of dough. Top each with 1/4 cup of the dulce de leche. Fold the dough over the filling, stretching to fit, then align the edges and seal with egg wash. Press the edges with a fork to seal. Place the hand pies on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with egg wash and cut 2 slits in the top with a sharp knife. Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon of the turbinado sugar. Bake until golden brown, 20 minutes.
