Ingredients
HAM:
1 lightly salted ham, approximately 4 pounds
2 bay leaves
2 carrots
2 onions
2 juniper berries
2 cloves
1 tablespoons dried thyme
MUSTARD MIX:
3 cup bread crumbs
1 cup syrup
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon ginger powder
2 pounds mustard
1 tablespoon Garam Masala
Directions
- For the Ham: Put water in a pot and cover, bring to a boil. Take the foam off the top. Let simmer for 4 hours. Let ham sit in broth over night, covered in refrigerator.
- For the Mustard Mix: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk ingredients well and brush the mix on the ham. Bake the ham for 30 minutes or until the mustard crust is golden brown.
