Ingredients
No-Churn Frozen Yogurt:
1 1/2 cups (360 grams) cold heavy cream
1 1/2 cups (340 grams) cold whole-milk plain Greek yogurt
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1 (14-ounce) can cold sweetened condensed milk
Date Cream Soda:
1/4 cup (80 grams) date syrup (or silan)
1/4 cup (60 grams) half-and-half
1 1/2 cups (240 grams) chilled seltzer water
Directions
- To make the no-churn frozen yogurt: In a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, beat together the heavy cream, yogurt and salt to stiff peaks. With a rubber spatula, fold in the condensed milk, ensuring that it incorporates fully (otherwise you’ll get ice bits). Scrape into a loaf pan or large ice cream container. Freeze for at least 4 hours. (Makes about 1 1/2 quarts.)
- To serve: In a liquid measuring cup, whisk together the date syrup and half-and-half until smooth and combined.
- Into two serving glasses, divide the creamy date syrup between the glasses. Add a scoop, or two, of frozen yogurt to each. Fill each glass with seltzer water. Drop a straw into each and enjoy immediately.
