Beer-Battered Broccoli

Directions

  1. Whisk 1 cup beer, 1 cup flour, 1/4 cup chopped parsley and a pinch of salt. Let the batter rest 1 hour. Dip 4 cups broccoli florets in the batter and fry in 375 degrees F vegetable oil until golden brown, about 2 minutes. Drain on paper towels. Serve with sour cream.

Without something to dip into this has no flavor. If I made again I would add salt at a minimum. Probably will not make again because there are many other ways to make broccoli that taste much better.
