Directions

  1. Melt 8 ounces chopped semisweet chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water, stirring. Remove the bowl from the pan and stir in 2 cups canned potato sticks. Coat a 6-cup muffin pan with cooking spray and scoop some of the chocolate mixture into the cups; make an indentation in each to form nests. Chill until set, at least 3 hours. Fill with marcona almonds.

If you have trouble with them sticking to the cupcake pan....omit the spraying or oiling pan....spray a paper cupcake holder...put the paper in the cupcake tin and proceed. They lift out easily, the cupcake paper can be thrown away...and if it seems oily on the bottom just place them on paper towels to de-grease.....our book club was reading about the intelligence of birds...so I took these for a treat. Life should be fun!!!
