Chocolate Orange Peels

  • Level: Easy
  • Yield: about 3 cups
  • Total: 10 hr
  • Active: 35 min
Chocolate-covered orange peel is a classic festive sweet. The citrus zest is simmered in water and sugar until tender. Then, the peels are tossed in sugar, cooled and dipped in melted chocolate. The hardest part is waiting for the chocolate to set before eating them!
