Directions

  1. Combine 2 ounces gold rum, 3/4 ounce lime juice, 1/2 ounce orange curacao and 1/4 ounce each orgeat (almond syrup) and simple syrup in a shaker with ice; shake well. Strain into a short glass filled with ice. Garnish with a pineapple chunk, maraschino cherry and edible flower.

Cook’s Note

To make simple syrup, heat equal parts granulated sugar and water in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves; let cool. (You can use demerara sugar or honey instead of granulated sugar.)
