Ingredients

One 5.1-ounce package vanilla instant pudding mix (plus required ingredients)

Blue gel food coloring

4 purple chew candies, such as Now and Later

2 yellow chew candies, such as Now and Later

Confectioners' sugar, for dusting

1/4 cup heavy cream

1 cup graham cracker crumbs

4 gummy candy rings, such as Gummy Lifesavers

4 graham cracker bears

Directions

  1. Prepare the pudding according to the package directions. Once the pudding has set, stir in enough blue food coloring to make the pudding light blue, 3 to 4 drops.
  2. Place the purple and yellow chew candies in a small microwave-safe dish. Microwave until the chews are just softened, about 10 seconds. Use your hands to mix the chews together until they are a purple-gray color. Flatten the candy into four 2-inch squares and use kitchen shears to cut each into a shark fin. Dust the fins in confectioners' sugar and brush off any excess.
  3. Whisk the heavy cream in a medium bowl until stiff peaks form, about 3 minutes.
  4. Remove 1 tablespoon graham cracker crumbs and set aside. Divide the remaining crumbs between 4 clear cups. Add 1/2 cup of the pudding mixture to each cup. Sprinkle the reserved graham cracker crumbs on one side of each cup to mimic a strip of sand on the beach. Spread the whipped cream in a line just behind the sand to make it look like crashing waves. Stick a shark fin in the pudding water. Put a gummy ring on the pudding water and stick a graham cracker bear in the middle. Serve immediately.
