Tequila Cocktails

Directions

  1. Combine 4 ounces tequila, 2 ounces each lemon juice and sweet vermouth, 2 teaspoons honey and 4 dashes bitters in a shaker. Add ice, cover and shake. Strain into 2 martini glasses; garnish with lemon twists.

I used a resposado and probably half the honey as sweet vermouth simply by the name is usually sweet. I may not have used enough honey and maybe a little too much lemon but all in all the sweet vermouth mellowed out the tequila very nicely. I also added a Luxardo cherry and it was quite nice.
