Ingredients

5 fresh eggs

5 tablespoons granulated sugar

500 grams marscarpone cheese

1 tablespoon strawberry jam

1 package ladyfingers

2 shots rum

6 strawberries, chopped

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

1 tablespoon orange marmalade

1 orange, peeled and pulled to chunks

2 shots orange liqueur

1 cup brewed coffee

Directions

  1. Separate the 5 egg whites and yolks into different bowls. Mix the 5 egg yolks and sugar in a bowl until the egg yolks are pale yellow. Then add the marscarpone. Mix well. In a separate bowl, whip 5 egg whites until the texture turns thick (similar to shaving cream). Add whipped egg whites to mascarpone/egg yolk mix. Mix gently but well. Separate the mix in to 3 equal amounts in 3 bowls.
  2. Strawberry Tiramisu:
  3. Add the strawberry jam into 1 of the mascarpone mixture bowls, stir and sit aside. Soak 4 lady fingers in rum, then break them in chunks. In a martini glass, put the chopped strawberries in the bottom of the glass, then add the rum soaked ladyfingers, next pour the marscarpone/ jam mix on top. Chill this for about 1 hour. Before serving, using tea strainer, sprinkle cocoa powder on top evenly.
  4. Orange Tiramisu:
  5. Add the orange marmalade into a second mascarpone mixture bowl, stir and sit aside. Soak 4 lady fingers in orange liqueur then break them into chunks. In a martini glass, layer the orange chunks in the bottom, orange liqueur soaked ladyfingers, then pour marscarpone/marmalade mix on top. Chill this for about 1 hour. Before serving, using tea strainer, sprinkle cocoa powder on top evenly.
  6. Traditional Tiramisu:
  7. Soak 4 lady fingers in coffee for about 10 seconds then break them in chunks. In a martini glass, put coffee soaked ladyfingers in the bottom then pour third bowl of the mascarpone mixture over. Chill this for about 1 hour. Before serving, using tea strainer, sprinkle cocoa powder on top evenly.
