Ingredients
2 cups cooked and mashed pumpkin
1 cup sugar
1/2 stick butter
3 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
1 homemade deep-dish pie crust
Directions
- Mix all ingredients well and add to pie crust. Bake in preheated oven for one hour at 350 degrees. Cool, slice and serve. Top with whipped cream, if desired.
