Zipper Bag Overnight Oatmeal

Ingredients

1 cup old-fashioned oats

1 cup whole milk 

1/2 cup half-and-half 

2 tablespoons brown sugar 

1 tablespoon vanilla extract 

Pinch of salt 

1 small Granny Smith apple, chopped 

1/4 cup raspberries 

1 tablespoon sliced almonds 

Directions

  1. Special equipment: a large, resealable plastic zipper bag
  2. Add the oats, milk, half-and-half, brown sugar, vanilla, salt and apples to a large resealable plastic zipper bag. Mix, seal and soak for 10 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
  3. Top with the raspberries and sliced almonds and serve.

LOVE this recipe, one of the best for overnight oats!! I'll mix mine in either a mason jar or Tupperware bowl. Sometimes I'll switch it up and replace the half and half with flavored coffee creamer ... delicious!
