2 eggs

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions

  3. Add salt, vanilla, and cinnamon until just incorporated

Cook’s Note

Because of the egg content in this recipe this pie will set up faster and firmer than traditional pumpkin pies.

Simmer 2 1/4 cups of milk down until it becomes 1 cup evaporated milk. No need to buy the canned stuff or buy egg nog.
