The Kelley's Hot Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

6 tablespoons margarine

1/2 cup baking cocoa, unsweetened

2 cups sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 can evaporated milk

1/4 cup light corn syrup

1 1/2 teaspoon cornstarch, mixed with 1 1/2 teaspoons water

2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions

  1. In a medium saucepan, melt margarine. Remove from heat and stir in cocoa, sugar and salt until they dissolve. Stir in evaporated milk and syrup until well combined. Stir in cornstarch mixture. Return to heat and bring to a boil. Cool sauce and stir in vanilla. Serve warm over ice cream. Can be refrigerated and warmed for future use.

Margarine? Really? Um. No - being that stuff is one molecule from being plastic, please don't make this. Use REAL FOOD. This recipie is thin and tasteless because if the fake food: margarine.
