S'mores Fondue

Ingredients

2 cups heavy cream

12 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped 

1 cup sour cream 

4 graham crackers 

1/4 cup roasted salted almonds 

2 cups strawberries, hulled 

2 cups chopped assorted fruit (1-inch chunks), such as kiwi and mango

One 16-ounce bag large marshmallows 

Directions

Special equipment:
eighteen 12-inch bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes; 6 small ramekins
  1. Scald the cream by warming it in a small saucepot over medium heat until bubbles form around the edges and steam rises from the surface.
  2. Place the chocolate in a large bowl. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let sit for 3 minutes. Stir until well mixed, then whisk in the sour cream. Place the ganache into 6 small ramekins.
  3. Pulse the graham crackers and almonds in a food processor until well chopped (or chop finely by hand). Divide among the ramekins.
  4. Thread the strawberries, chopped fruit, and marshmallows onto skewers. Rotate the skewers over a campfire or open flame until the marshmallows are toasted.
  5. Dip the skewers into the chocolate fondue and enjoy!

Thanks for the fun idea! My family enjoyed these. The graham cracker topping with the addition of almonds was very good! We will definitely be making this again!
