Ice cubes

2 pinches chili powder

2 teaspoons light brown sugar

8 dashes green hot sauce (recommended: Jalapeno Tabasco hot sauce)

2 (12-ounce) pints lager beer, chilled (recommended: Modelo Especial)

Directions

  1. Chill 2 tall beer tumblers in the freezer. Put the salt into a shallow dish. Remove the glasses from the freezer and wet the rims using a wedge of lime. Don't let the poor revues fool you. This is an interesting change up to your normal Michelada recipe. Being a professional alcoholic, I would suggest using lime zest and switching out that Modela beer for something like Dos Equis. On a personal note, I served these to my eight small children and it put them to bed fast !! Kidding on that last part. lol
